My catholic friend told me I needed to see this "wonderful" The Chosen on facebook.. my husband and I sat down and watched the first episode and BAM! We were hooked!! We binge-watched the first season, bought the 2nd season on Amazon, and I watched Dallas do a live stream and I knew we had to have both seasons on DVD.
Jesus is portrayed as real person and he is very relatable. I don't know if you understand what I'm saying. Peter and the others are real persons with real problems; just like we have today. It's so wonderful!

I am not a person to show tearful emotions in public. When the leader told me about The Chosen in our Lady's Bible Study, my first reaction was, Oh NO, NOT ANOTHER JESUS MOVIE I screamed in my head. I think the ladies could read my face. I sat and watched the first episode. Well, when Jesus came out of that bar and spoke to Mary at the very end, I tell you, it was as if he was talking to me personally. I burst into tears. It is the GREATEST series about Jesus I have ever or will ever see. I feel like I know everybody and wish I was in the series with them.

We have had problems with the video not playing in order.Season one started in the middle which I had seen on tv but my Husband was confused. We had to watch some of them by fast forwarding to the next one then going back to the beginning. I have been very excited but the in-between with the fish and intro music we fast forward. We love the acting and protrayals of the Bible actors and scriptures is amazing.I pray season 2 is not out of order. God has Blessed all of you in Jesus name Amen. looking forward to see season 3.

I have never before seen the depiction of the humanity of the people so well portrayed. When Christ fills the boats with fish and Peter later asks, "can we do that a couple of more times". I just laughed! That is so human and so Me! The whole storyline and development of the characters is so real and therefore so believable. It is also sound scripture! I have detected no "Hollywood" and that is great! I have never enjoyed a biblically based movie or series as much. Thank you.
I watched the first season Saturday and Sunday evenings. I can't wait to watch season two this week. I am very anxiously awaiting all eight! Thank you again! Oh, when will series three be available for purchase?

We have watched the first season on you tube. We have not been able to see more than the first 3 episodes of season two.
I was so thankful to see in the gift shop the DVD's for Chosen. We watch them all now and we love them. And for us it
is so much easier just to pop the DVD in the player and watch as many episodes as we want.

A cut above all the rest. While I respect the film makers who have produced films about our Lord, Jesus Christ, none capture the reality of his existence while on earth better than The Chosen. The series has a spiritual quality to it that takes you, mentally, to the days of Jesus and his ministry and disciples.
The casting is perfect, and the scenes and dialogue are almost divinely inspired.
The crown jewel in the series is the presence of Jonathan Roumie as Jesus Christ. His performance is nothing less than breath taking. If you ever wondered how Jesus handled himself while conducting his earthly ministry, you will find out in The Chosen.
