This is the second of the Christmas CDs I have purchased. First was for my middle aged son. Not a believer. He came to the theater for the concert (Lebanon, PA) because I had gifted my older son tickets (will be 60 this year and is a believer) to the concert in the theater. My son loved the music. He plays the violin and was especially thrilled with the arrangement of Hark the Herald Angels. He was raised in our Christian home and graduated from a Christian High School. He has a lot of knowledge but not a submissive knee to our Savior. He asked for the CD if available. I ordered it pre-sale and was able to gift it him shortly after it arrived. He was back at my home last Tuesday (March 1) my CD had arrived and we listened to it together again ... 3 times. But that is not the best part. He is a contractor/renovator and has several customers that he has over the years completed renovation projects for them. He had been to visit the customer and he mentioned the CD to her. That led to his saying that he had watched several episodes of The Chosen . This led her to ask him a question... "Why did God wait all of those thousands of years to send Jesus to die?" and "What about all of the people who died before Jesus came?" When he told me about this conversation he followed with asking me , "How would you have answered, Mom?" What followed was several hours of conversation and Bible study together. THAT has not happened...ever!! He was totally engaged and there was great freedom to share with him. God is at work in his heart and this chapter in his life was prompted by his musical ear hearing things in the theater and on the CD that most folk might miss. THANK YOU!! for the concert and the ministry of The Chosen. AND this 82 year old loves the CD too!
