I had purchased the Season 1 Dvds in 2020. I watched them and now I pass them on to my friends and family. I Just bought Season 2 Dvds for the same reason. I am re-watching them before Season 3 comes out. Then I will pass this Dvd around for others to watch. Trying to get others hooked on The Chosen just like I am. My sister in San Antonio TX told me about this series at the beginning on the Covid Pandemic in March of 2020. And I have been telling people about this series ever since.

We watched online as it was being released but Firestick didn't support subtitles at the time. We wanted to own Blu-ray anyway to get the higher resolution. It was even better the second time through! I just wish that they had released a special edition Blu-ray like they did the first year.

When it became available on the Catholic channel he handed out flyers and spoke about it, one thing being said was if someone was not able to see it he had the DVD. I am an actress, and have been disappointed for years with most of what we call faith-based entertainment. I believe since God is the Creator of all, then those creating art should strive for higher standards. This show completely changed my mind about the faith-based genre! This show has fantastic acting, fascinating story, excellent writing, great directing and all-around wonderful everything! It's not the usual Jesus fare. It's exceptional work, right on par with secular Hollywood talent. And as a homeschooling mom who fancies herself an amateur apologist and historian, I get super excited when I see the attention to historical detail. I love being able to show this to my daughters and relate it to the stories we've read in the Bible. It brings it all to life for them. It makes the Bible real!

I caught things that I had missed before. It has been helpful to see interviews, background information on actors, their characters, the production team's interviews, etc. Which adds to the whole experience of watching " The Chosen!" I am opening my various versions of my Bibles, to read the word first hand! At age 80, I am being refed the truths I was raised believing! "God is good all the time and all the time God is good!"

Not an exact representation of the Bible, but how could any man-made production be? The danger is, as always the case, that people will believe "The Chosen" as truly representative of the Bible because most have not read the Bible. That being said, it is fun to see how others view different scenes the Bible presents to us, each has his own interpretation; and each changes interpretation over a lifetime. Reading the Bible every day is a lifetime proposition. This protects us when films like "The Chosen" or "The Ten Commandments" or "___" or "___" go off the rails.

My husband and I are leaders of a small group. Over the past 6 months, we have watched Season 1 along with our Bible study lessons and we have just started Season 2. We have enjoyed every minute. Season One had a few problems for us and that was that the background sound overpowered the spoken word in many instances. Season Two is better but there are still times. One thing may be a factor and that is all of us are over 70. No matter what, we love what you are doing, and we will be with you through every season you produce. God bless you

The series popularity is nothing new, but the chance to pass it along to friends and family on DVDs is priceless. Not everyone is tech savvy and able to somehow access the Seasons. Walmart for some reason did not carry Season Two, so I was glad when someone told me I could order it direct from you.
