Comic Book - Season One Episode 1 Book 1

Quality of the paper used was great. The comic artist did a very realistic picture of the characters. You could reconize who they were from the chosen easily. It is for older children and adults, maybe not young children.

This comic is so cool! I love the art and being able to see the story of the chosen in a new form.

This will become very expensive.

I bought this comic book for my son. He loved it!

The book was nicely done. I've never owned a comic book (@70yr.) So I don't have any comparison, but I did like the large size. And the artwork was nice.

I’ve been buying these as little gifts to young people who love the Chosen. Teenagers love comics and these are so good. I’m saving a set for the future grandkids too!

I love the idea of a comic book for The Chosen. I am planning on getting all of them once they are out and giving them to my son so he will become curious about The Chosen.

I would like to start off by saying that I have been collecting comics for years. The art work on these comics are wonderful. The only concern I have is the comics are not protected with bags and boards. But other then that I would be buying as they come out.

It was not what I expected, something to use independently of the show to introduce a 10 year old to the gospel story. It was more of a storyboard of the show. I passed it along to another viewer of the series whose grandchildren are already familiar with the series.

So real, it's like watching the episode, but in caricature images. A real work of art.

We were hoping it had Jesus putting his hand on Mary's than following her out to tell her that she was His, scene. Not really appreate for children

I was not expecting the comic book to be a word-for-word copy of the episode. I suppose that I was expecting the same story from a different viewpoint. It is beautifully drawn and just like the show, the story is fantastic.

I would love this even more without staples. I sent it to a teen in a juvenile correction facility and he is not allowed to have it unsupervised because of the staples. We are waiting to hear if they can find an acceptable solution so he can keep it with him.

I canNOT tell you how excited I am to get this comic book. Looking forward to collecting them all.

Graphic novels and comics are so popular. Wise decision to put these out there. They will reach people who would not find The Chosen any other way.

Comics have always been intended for kids. So here I thought would be a good way to introduce "The Chosen" to my grandkids, who are 7, 9 and 10. After reading the book myself, I've changed my mind. First of all, it barely showed all of the first episode. It was way too short and condensed to get the gist of the storyline. Then was too graphic, showing a bloody cover page and then showing 3 pages of a blood-soaked Lilith and her victim who screamed "she tried to kill me!" I really don't believe there is a need for a comic book when there is such a beautifully accurate rendition telling the story of Jesus in "The Chosen." I will still continue watching, buying "Merch" and "paying it forward " but no more comics for my family. Dallas, I love what you are doing and will continue to prayerfully and financially support your efforts. However, I don't believe I'm alone in my remarks. I am planning to get all of them… little by little … I bought also the DVD set. I don’t trust % on streaming. If I don’t pay the internet. The internet is down…. Etc. a hard copy can be played in many devices. Blessings. Yeap, I am a devoted Catholic.

I have sent the three comic books to myteen age grand sons they loved The Chosen season 1.

I ordered it for my 10 year old and I think it’s more for a preteen (12 and up) I also order and paid for two books but only received one book.

Love the illustrations haven't read it yet, I'm sure it's a lot of fun. I do intend to buy more.

I've enjoyed the Chosen series and I just happen to love Christian comic books. It was a real treat to discover that the Chosen series had made a comic book of the Chosen season 1, episode 1.... I have made several purchases of Chosen merchandise and have been completely satisfied with each one. In fact, the latest order came very quickly, actually several days before the date I was told and I pleasantly surprised and very happy ‼ I love the blue tie dyed shirt, although it was a lot thinner than I thought it would be. I guess I am just "old school" when it comes to clothing in general. "Back in the day" clothing was a lot thicker, especially tshirts. I love the comics. I have bought both of them. My son absolutely freaked out when I got him this. They are so detailed and accurate! Every Christian comic book fan should have these! And oh what a witness they would be if you gave them to friends!

My order arrived sooner than expected. It really looks more like a graphic novel than a comic book! I think my grandson will love it.

Great artwork and is very true to the episode! Only complaint is the comic was a little dinged. The comic had some creases and a bent corner to the cover. Perhaps a little better packaging to prevent those things for next time?

It would be great if each book covered an episode. It's $6 for half or a third of an episode, so it will get pricey to keep up. The art is nice and dialogue is pretty easy to follow for young teens.
